The Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) is a 501(c)(3) organization that raises funding for numerous animals held in local shelters. FOTAS makes it a goal to improve the lives of shelter animals in the local area that require any veterinarian assistance.
FOTAS work closely with the Sioux City Animal Adoption & Rescue Center. Our goal is to help with shelter animals medical care prior to adoption.
FOTAS works with cats & dogs, but primarily focuses on cats because there's an abundant amount.
We are out at Petsmart every day, re-filling the Cat condo that they have there! Through the Petsmart store, we find homes for a LOT of adorable Kitties!! ;)
Thanks To Our Fabulous Working Relationship With Petsmart, We Are Able To Find Homes For Around 1,000 Animals A Year!! We Are Deeply Grateful For The Use Of Their Sioux City Store To Facilitate Adoptions AND Their Financial Support, Which Makes It All Possible!
